What you’ll do

You will drive the complex delivery of API solutions for digital platforms for Customer Account, Pre bet experience, Live bet for the Wagering business. You are a senior software engineering expert delivering API technical capability and will and plan, design, coordinate and execute high quality technology solutions.

Reporting to the Product Owner, you are accountable for engineering and supporting API solutions for digital customer platforms for Wagering and Media to ensure that the vision of the business, and future product development, achieves their desired targets, ensuring technology is of exceptional quality on a global scale, delivering the highest possible value to the business.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or other relevant qualification
• Experience in application development and support environment on large and complex systems
• API experience delivering on a complex platform including continuous integration/ continuous deployment within an agile environment
• Secure knowledge of application development techniques and structured application design
• Sound knowledge on application security best practices and structured application design / framework
• Good knowledge of common API, web and application architectures and development methodologies
• Extensive experience working on highly transactional platform and high performing RESTful APIs.
• Good knowledge on supporting web technologies / languages like ReactJS, Angular (nice to have)
• Experience with NodeJS, Golang, Python, relational and non-relational DB. Additionally knowledge on CMS such as Adobe AEM or any will be added advantage
• Knowledge & solid understanding of the end to end SDLC specifically CI/CD and cloud base instrumentation (e.g. AWS, CodePipeline, BuildKite, GoCD)
• An understanding of the Information and Technology industry, as well as technology trends and ‘best’ practice
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining strong relationships across business and technology teams
• Detailed knowledge of highly regulated industries (gambling and entertainment industries nice to have)
